Overview
• The Masterpass Merchant Portal serves as an online 'hub' for onboarding ecommerce merchants that wish to leverage the Masterpass digital wallet shopping experience.
• In this job, you will be part of a lively development team that supports the development of new features and enhancements to the Masterpass Merchant Portal.

Role
• Perform requirement analysis under the guidance of a tech lead to determine the best approach that adheres to the team's coding standards and architectural vision.
• Contribute to product enhancements by coding quality software and supporting Quality engineers while testing.
• Able to manage product owner expectations while working as a team to meet scheduled due dates.
• Proactively identify emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems.
• Independently perform assigned tasks.
• Perform production incident management, as needed, and provide timely responses and solutions to technical issues.
All About You
• You are an advanced Java Engineer that also has developed with:
o JBOSS
o Hibernate
o Jersey
• Expert level experience with Web services using JSON/RESTful and SOAP development
• You have experience with Spring boot, Spring batch and Spring integration.
• You have employed Test Driven development (TDD) practices and have experience with Unit Testing frameworks and automated testing.
• You have working knowledge of Oracle Databases.
• Exposure to GIT/Stash for code version control
• Strong understanding of design patterns
• Superior application flow and problem solving techniques
• Familiar with agile/SAFe development practices
