Job Title: AWS RDS Developer
Location: Arlington, VA (Virtual to start but may be requested to come to the office)
Duration: Through 12/31/2024
Education/Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant Data Warehouse experience.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Support client's Data Integration Services team in planning for and migrating an on-premise SQL Server Data Warehouse to AWS technologies including:
Choosing technologies
Performing proof of concept
Being main point of contact for defining and performing migration activities
Take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion; follow defined guidelines and coding standards and meet client requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant Data Warehouse experience.
3+ years experience with AWS cloud technologies, including 2+ year experience with AWS RDS/RDS Custom.
Experience migrating databases and applications from on-premise to the cloud
2+ year experience with AWS RDS/RDS Custom.
3+ with Data Warehousing tools. (MS SQL Server and SSIS (C#) and T-SQL preferred.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with other technical team members and non-technical customers.
Prior use of a change management tool (Git) is desired.
BS/BA degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
Proficient in AWS RDS and related tools, Knowledge of Migrating applications from on-premise to cloud, Good Communication
