TM Floyd & Company Business Development Representative (BDR)

At TM Floyd & Company (TMF), we pride ourselves on our integrity and quality.

We are expanding our sales team and looking for dynamic, highly motivated individuals to sell TMF professional IT services.

Selected candidates will participate in an in-depth sales training program in which you will learn the aspects of selling IT services including prospecting, cold-calling, relationship development, information technology, and more. During the 12-week program, you will begin developing your sales portfolio and territory. Upon conclusion of the program, you will understand the TMF sales methodology and be selling TMF IT services.

Candidates must be onsite in Columbia, SC, during the 12-week program.
Candidates located in NC are preferred.

Upon completion of the sales training program, the BDR will have responsibility for, but not limited to, selling professional IT consulting and staffing services by:

Prospecting and qualifying new clients
Developing client relationships by positioning TM Floyd as a trusted advisor in technical talent acquisition
Scheduling, coordinating, preparing, and conducting sales meetings, presentations, and proposals
Representing TMF at industry events and functions
Working with the TMF recruiting and delivery teams to qualify client requirements, hiring needs, and deliver customized talent solutions

The BDR will have the following skills and abilities:

Bachelor's degree
Ability to listen and understand business needs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High standards of professionalism, character, and integrity
Ability to work remotely and travel, as needed
No prior experience is necessary
