About The Team

Loqate Professional Services / Sales Engineering / Solutions Consulting

Very simply, the Professional Services Team provides guidance and support to our clients through their journey with Loqate. We provide technical support for the Loqate business. We work directly with customers to ensure they get the most value from their time with Loqate.

The Role

This is a challenging and varied role where you will perform many technical functions including pre-sales, customer onboarding, technical account management, and implementation assistance. You will work directly with customers and partners and will also work closely with the Business Development and Customer Success teams, as well as a variety of other geographically disbursed internal teams. The role offers the successful applicant an opportunity to develop into a credible candidate for career progression in several directions.

What you will do

  • Use your understanding of multiple operating systems and web development languages to tailor the Loqate integration to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide pre-sales and Professional Services to the Business Development and Customer Success teams.
  • Have the knowledge to configure, implement, and support all Loqate solutions.
  • Confidently present your knowledge of Loqate solutions to customers and prospects, both in person and remotely.
  • Post-implementation assistance to customers, including training, analyses and consulting.
  • Supporting revenue generating activity through solution design, onboarding, and implementation.
  • Ongoing customer guidance to ensure their service is working as effectively for them as possible.
  • Delivering analysis that informs the customer of the best way to use the service.
  • Liaising with Product teams to shape and develop new product lines.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to our customers/market.

Requirements

  • Some exposure to global addressing or related industries is beneficial.
  • Experience in roles such as internships or university projects related to consultancy, sales engineering, or technical support can be advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce, digital checkout integrations, and web services. Keen to deepen existing knowledge in systems architecture and technical solutions.
  • Open to gaining pre-sales experience and, with guidance, supporting technical delivery. Eager to learn from experiences and grow professional capabilities.
  • Awareness of the need for urgency and able to motivate others to think the same.
  • An excellent communicator to prospects or customers, both orally and in writing.
  • The confidence and the capacity to present a case enthusiastically and persuasively, with a commitment to continuous improvement and skill refinement.
  • A hands-on attitude to dive into problem-solving tasks when required.
  • The ability to think and act quickly, particularly under pressure.
  • Flexibility with reference to working hours, often to accommodate multiple time zones.
  • Open to occasional travel in the D/A/CH Region and within Europe.
