We are growing at lightning speed and are seeking a market access leader to help innovate and support our growth. </p><p dir="ltr">The Head of Market Access & Payer Relations is a crucial role at Cubby Beds, responsible for building and leading our market access function from the ground up. You’ll be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to ensure our products are accessible and well-received in the market. This role demands a high-impact individual who can work cross-functionally with our growth, operations, and business development teams, and who possesses deep expertise in the payer environment, particularly within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.<br></p><p dir="ltr">The ability to build an informed strategy around which payers, DMEs, markets and patients will or will not be reimbursed is one of the most important questions we can answer as an organization. This role will answer these questions. Additionally, you will act as the face of the company to payers as well as the subject matter expert (SME) on reimbursement across teams. You strive to build systems and a team that defines one of our three values at Cubby - Operate With Excellence. <br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Here’s what you’ll be doing</strong> </p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Develop and implement market access strategies for Cubby Beds’ product portfolio, including creating a value proposition and clinical evidence portfolio to showcase product benefits.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Design and execute a short, mid, and long-term coding and reimbursement strategy to support business growth.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and payer representatives.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Develop advocacy from clinicians, society, and patient sources, and ensure effective communication to key stakeholders, including medical and trade associations.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for product access and market entry.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to manage approval processes and stay updated on regulatory changes.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand industry trends, payer requirements, and competitive dynamics.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Oversee pricing strategies and negotiate reimbursement rates to ensure favorable terms for Cubby Beds products.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Partner with growth, operations, and business development teams to ensure alignment of market access strategies with overall business goals.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Track the effectiveness of strategies and provide regular updates to the executive team on performance and progress.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Secure advocacy and support from key stakeholders, including medical and trade associations and government bodies.</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>Here’s what we’re looking for</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>You will have at least</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Business, Healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">5-10 years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or a related field, with significant experience in the medical device industry.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Proven ability to build and lead market access strategies from the ground up.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong analytical skills and experience in market research and data analysis.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Knowledge of payer dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>We hope you also have</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Current or former clinical licensure is preferred.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong customer orientation: a passion for patients and caregiver community</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Thrive on collaboration and ability to influence in a cross functional environment</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Friendly, perseverant, flexible, collaborative and confident</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong results orientation and a sense of urgency to get things done</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience working with clinical research teams or a CRO</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience working with a drug or device that is not, or was not previously, widely adopted</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>Don’t feel like you have all of the qualifications?</strong> </p><p dir="ltr">The description above indicates our current vision for the role.
