Technical Training Commodity Manager

Job Description:

• Define and develop the courseware for our automotive technical curriculum.
• Conduct technical training development needs analysis and solution planning meetings.
• Provide media selections and alternative training plans based on course criteria.
• Interact with engineers, instructors and other subject matter experts to ensure course accuracy and efficacy of activities.
• Perform research, including disassembly of actual components/vehicles to gain product knowledge.
• Follow specifications and style guide to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage the development process timeline from start of work to handoff.
• Manage the development of multiple courses at the same time.
• Deliver trainer-the-trainer sessions.
• Monitor and regularly update existing content to align with industry and technology changes.

• Extensive knowledge of automotive components and systems.
• Ability to physically perform automotive service activities.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to interact effectively with various personality types.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction, including self-guided study, to stay current with technology.
• Familiarity and ease with office automation programs (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• High level of attention to details.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 and Adobe Creative Suite (including In-Design) would be a bonus.

• A degree is preferred but if you've got good experience, we'll take that, too.
