Job Description:Active Secret Required Provides technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers. Applies technical knowledge to research, develop, test and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs and technical data. Communicates design and operational issues and concerns with Engineering. Develops in-service correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment. Participates on accident investigation team or support team. Participates in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage. Adapts existing test procedures, oversees execution of test procedures and coordinates resolution of test anomalies to return products to operational status.
Seeking a motivated, talented, and experienced Electrical Technicians to join the Ground-based Missile Defense Ground (GMD) Systems Engineering Team located in Layton, UT, Ft. Greely, AK, or VSFB, CA. The selected candidate will serve as a Ground Systems Electrical Technician supporting the hardware and software installation, integration, and testing effort for the Launch Support System in Layton, UT, or the deployed sites in Ft. Greely, AK and VSFB, CA.
