Description
We are looking for a qualified, motivated person to be an integral part of our transformation towards automation and to bring best practices and development maturity to our MES development platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and testing of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and System Integration solutions across global operations
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing deployed MES and integration solutions across multiple manufacturing sites
Providing subject matter expertise to IT, in conjunction with Operations and Engineering, regarding MES solutions and defining and developing project deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving automation environment
Creating prototypes to demonstrating MES and systems integration capabilities
Collaborating with others in support of PLC integration, HMI and SCADA deployment, and machine data historization
Working onsite regularly at our Yuba City, CA location with limited opportunities for working remotely
Travel to our other locations may be required occasionally

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills:

Extensive training and experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition MES software is required
Experience and knowledge in Python, JSON, RESTful Web APIs
Experience in database design, development, and support
SQL Expertise, MSSQL is preferred
Experience in the adoption and application of ISA-95 and connecting enterprise IT systems to shop-floor systems is recommended
Experience in machine data collection from PLC environments is recommended

Ability to:

Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish company goals and objectives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related equivalent experience
Several years of experience working as a programmer/developer or MES Systems integrator
