ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is a contract to hire position.

  • Support Validation Engineering tasks related to quantifying vaporizer hardware performance, including thermal imaging and thermal measurements at whole device and system level
  • Support the development of next-generation PAX flower vaporizers and ERA concentrate vaporizers by using analytical and routine smoking machines to measure device performance
  • Execute test plans in order to catch design and MFG issues at early stages of builds 
  • Collaborate with design and test engineers in system bring up, design validation, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and system performance issues
  • Analyzing and reporting results

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

  • Ability to work cross functionally with other teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Firmware Engineering.
  • Attention to detail and good observation skills a must
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks
  • Adept at hands-on work
  • Ability to learn rapidly and work independently
  • Experience with basic coding, lab work, or electrical work a plus
  • Previous experience with JMP or other statistical tools a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, open to consider equivalent job experience

The compensation range for this role is $28-31/hr.
