Assistant Controller

S&K Building Services is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Controller to join our team. In this role, you will provide guidance and participate in all facets of the accounting team. If you're looking for an opportunity to develop and help our business grow, read on!

What You'll Do

• Support the Controller in all aspects of general ledger activity, close procedures, tax filings, and day-to-day operations
• Participate in month-end close processes, procedures and reconciliations
• Support internal controls, audits, and SOP preparation

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of relevant experience including AR, month-end close, general ledger, and taxes required.
• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• You have experience in the field services industry or similar preferred.
• You have a solid understanding of business, ERP, and CRM technology, preferably QuickBooks, Customer Factor, Smart Service, etc.
• You have experience with Excel.
• You have supervisory experience along with being a team player to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
• You have strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

Nice to Have

• You have a CPA designation
