IT Operations Specialist

The Role
As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure to meet the business needs of internal and external users. This role is crucial for maintaining continuous IT operations and ensuring client satisfaction across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Critical Applications Operations: Monitoring and operations on critical applications that support internal and external users of the company’s payments and banking services;
• Server Management: Monitoring and managing infrastructure resources for internal users and external users including customers and partners, assisting in communication of configuration changes on IT workloads and IT infrastructure;
• Service Desk Support: Troubleshooting issues, managing help desk and ticketing systems, coordinating with the service desk to identify and mitigate root cause issues pertaining to the IT infrastructure and systems;
• Incident & Security Management: Participate in IT systems and security incidents using technology systems to detect patterns of anomalous IT system and security behavior;
• Night Shift Specific Duties: Monitor business critical systems, answer Help Desk line and provide inbound and outbound assistance for end users, update remote users, create, troubleshoot and resolve work orders, troubleshoot user or partner issues and monitor IT ticketing system.

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

• Proven experience in IT Operations, preferably in a fintech environment;

• Familiarity with network infrastructure and IT service management;

• Familiarity with ITSM framework best practices;

• Ability to work night shifts and handle the unique challenges that may arise during these hours;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
