Job Description
Stakeholder Management
- Take charge in collaborating with different business units to synergize sales targets
- Work closely with principal company and area distribution partners to ensure business goals are met
- Coordinate and monitor movement of physical stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Overall supervision of warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity and staff morale.
- Maintain accurate stock movement figures by conducting monthly and ad hoc stock takes when and if necessary.
- Strict monitoring of stock levels to ensure consistent ordering patterns to avoid stock run-outs and minimize ordering slow moving lines.
- Responsible for stock rotation.
- Daily liaison with respective store managers and suppliers to maintain an orderly and timely flow of stock in and out of the warehouse.
Training and Development
- This role will handle 4 RSM and would need to ensure continuous development to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the distribution team and regularly assess performance against targets.
- Implement data-driven approaches to monitor sales trends, identify opportunities, and address challenges in the distribution network.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for expansion within the national market.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted strategies that capitalize on market insights.
The Successful Applicant
- You have at least 10 years of sales experience in a consumer goods company
- Must have experience in both general trade and modern trade, with specialization to downline channels
- Well versed in account management and route to market strategies,
- Minimum of 3 years Managerial experience in FMCG Industry
- Must have experience in Pronto or equivalent Data Management System software
- Must be willing to work on-site in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
