Your main responsibilities
We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor (M/F) - Screening Plant to coordinate on-site the two (02) projects related to primary and second primary screens installations during TPSD, including coordination and supervision of Contractors before and during TPSD and supporting Project Lead in delivering the project in the Execution Phase.
The main tasks will be :
- Coordinate contractors and consultants during execution works by monitoring and controlling their performance
- Coordinate and supervise multiple work areas during the course of a day or night
- Comfortable in coordinating and supervising multiple projects
- Identify short comings and employ work experience to devise potential solutions during project execution
- Assist Project Lead in day to day Project delivery activitie
- Prepare documents, reports and construction communications as required
- Work with field teams and assist with design and construction team members as required to meet operational deliverables
- Perform equipment, material, and routine site inspections
- Coordinate with other stakeholders during execution to ensure all equipment and material required to complete the works are available
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all construction methods and material requirements
- Assist resolution of site-based design and construction issues efficiently as they arise
- Undertake site supervision as required
- Maintain healthy and safe work environment by enforcing procedures and standards and complying with legal regulations during execution
- Ensure a rigorous Management of Change Process is adhered to and that all changes are captured, approved and executed in accordance with client standards
- Ensure that all documentation is maintained to support company policies, procedures and ISO 9001 requirements, and that all engineering documentation is appropriately filed and archived
Your background
Skills :
- Good construction supervision/coordination experience, brownfield project
- Good understanding of construction operations and processes
- A good background in the supervision of technical personnel and construction personnel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated track record of training and developing subordinates to assume positions of greater responsibility in the organization
- Fluency in English is required
- French will be an asset
- Good relationship building and management skills
- Customer service-oriented person
- Well organized and structured approach
Experience :
- At least 15 to 20 years minimum of experience in crushing and screening construction projects, in quarry or mine
