(Senior) Scrum Master (m/f/x)

We are looking for a (Senior) Scrum Master (m/f/x) at our office in Berlin or Remote.ver 30 years of experience and a network of multiple companies specialised across the verticals of planning, product, software and service, we focus on that vision.

Our teams are characterised by motivated and highly qualified, as well as professionally experienced and recognized engineers. The focus of the conceptual work is analysis, advice, planning, monitoring and management of urban infrastructure and urban design projects.

In the digitised and connected world of smart cities, differentiated software solutions are playing an increasingly important role, especially in the areas of mobility and traffic. The technical basis for this is formed by intelligently networked applications and systems, which we also create and maintain.

We recently won the German Innovation Award for SmaLa, an intelligent booking system for loading and delivery zones in cities.

We are looking for an (Senior) Scrum Master (m/f/x) at our office in Berlin or Remote.

In your role as Scrum Master, you will be part of our Product & Engineering teams in the entire company. You will be responsible for the whole task assignment with highly-skilled and motivated cross-functional teams.

Tasks

• You coach, develop, support one or more cross-functional teams and help everyone understand scrum theory, practices, rules and values
• You recognise and moderate conflicts within the teams and encourage creative input when looking for solutions
• You promote self-organising teamwork and ensure that sprint goals are reached
• Make the benefit of working with scrum visible to the team/client
• You issue reports, interpret them correctly and communicate them in a way that is understandable for all team members
• You recognise impediments and take steps to resolve them, coordinating any necessary measures
• You drive suitable measures for the further development of agile working practices within the organisation
• You help those outside the scrum team understand which of their interactions with the scrum team are helpful and which are not

Requirements

• Experience – You have experience as Scrum Master or Team Coach in an agile working environment; Ideally, you have scrum master certification (CSM, PSM)
• Methods – You have experience with agile software development methodologies, and also advanced knowledge of scrum management methodologies and tools.
• Working Style – You demonstrate excellent organisational talent, a structured way of working and good problem-solving skills (team, goals, customer)
• Competencies – You have a strong character, excellent communication and moderation skills as well as the ability to assert yourself
• Mindset – A confident manner and the ability to work independently in a team round off your structured approach to work
• Language – You have very good German and English language skills in communication and documentation; Polish or other eastern European languages are a plus
