Finance & Investor Relations Manager

• First Momentum Ventures is one of this generation's most extraordinary venture capital funds.
• All of our partners built our first fund in 2018 as a campus spin-off, and we are already fully operational with our second fund (€35M+). We are offering the position of Finance and Investor Relations Manager to join our dynamic team.
• Over the last years, we have invested in more than 40 pre-seed startups, focusing on B2B and (deep) tech companies, and have become one of Germany's most renowned pre-seed and tech investors.
• Many of our portfolio companies have raised successful follow-up funding rounds from the best European and US investors.
• With our new fund, we are taking First Momentum Ventures to the next level and continue to build one of the best pre-seed VCs in Europe!

Tasks

• Work closely with our partners and be the operational backbone of our VC fund.
• Be entrusted with all financial and investor relations topics.
• Support the fundraising process for our future initiatives, maintain and build new LP relationships, and prepare needed material.
• Analyze financial trends and present the financial impacts of management decisions to partners. Own the coordination of all legal and finance matters in our portfolio’s transactions.
• Develop and implement a robust investor communication strategy to ensure transparent, regular, and impactful engagement with our investors.
• Organize and manage investor meetings, including preparation of presentation materials and performance reports.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in finance, fund administration, investor relations in a financial services company, VC/PE fund, or startup.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile investors,
• Comfortable taking ownership and leading processes and projects end-to-end.
• Proven analytical and financial modelling skills.
• A self-starter with a passion for startups, technology, and innovation.
• Willingness to travel (20%-40%, depending on the fundraising cycle)
• Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
