Senior PR & Communications Manager

We are Klim, a Berlin-based clean-tech company revolutionizing climate protection by scaling regenerative agriculture in Germany and Europe.

We have launched the world’s first digital platform for regenerative agriculture, which is already being utilized by thousands of farmers. By marketing the associated climate protection services to companies, primarily in the food industry, we provide financial compensation to farmers for their regenerative practices and offer high-quality advisory services.

Supported by leading investors, including Atlantic Food Labs, Ananda Impact Ventures, and AgFunder, we are now expanding our team and seeking a Junior Marketing Manager to help us continually improve our digital product.

Tasks

As our Senior PR & Communications Manager, you will work closely with the Marketing and the Leadership Team.

Your tasks will include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure press coverage and media placements.
• Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials to effectively communicate key messages and news announcements.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of press lists, media databases, and communication assets.
• Organize and coordinate press events, media interviews, and press conferences.
• Organize and manage events, including logistics, promotion, and attendee engagement.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide timely insights and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate our executive positioning initiatives.
• Measure and analyze the effectiveness of PR and communication campaigns, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or related field, with a proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements.
• Strong media relations skills, with established contacts in relevant media outlets and industries.
• Proven experience in developing and executing PR and communication strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Experience in event management and executive positioning.
• Native German and fluent English speaker, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to craft compelling press releases, pitches, and other communication materials.
• Passion for sustainability and climate protection. Knowledge of (regenerative) agriculture is a plus
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.Strong team player with a positive attitude and curiosity to learn.
