For our continued growth, we are looking for a backend developer to join our team and take E2E responsibility for our new Staking product together with your team. You will play an essential role in the development and success of our product, working with your team to ensure that our product meets the needs of our customers while achieving our goals associated with the product. Tasks
- Work with a team of experienced developers on our new staking offering
- Support our product owner and other stakeholders during the design process of new products & features with your technical expertise, especially on the subject of software design
- Make independent decisions about architecture, software design, and implementations
- Using Node.js with TypeScript, you will develop scalable & secure backend services and APIs operated by you and your team using the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Bring in your DevOps mindset and implement and maintain Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipelines to ensure the highest quality standards while continuously delivering customer value
- Be responsible for testing, rollout, and go-live of product increments
- Develop and maintain standards for our software development, especially regarding code quality, clean code, automated testing & deployment, diagnostics, and monitoring
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the design and development of backend services with TypeScript and Node.js
- Ideally proven experience in Microsoft Azure environment (Azure Functions) as well as Microsoft Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of web architectures, as well as API design & communication with OAuth2-based authentication methods
- High level of initiative and a “You build it. You run it” mentality.
- Ideally experience in the areas of software security, automated testing, clean code, and design patterns
- Passion for blockchain is a must; technical blockchain know-how is an advantage
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape for crypto assets, especially in Germany.
- Ideally, experience with compliance and security frameworks applicable to crypto custodians.
- Fluency in English (at least B2). German is a plus.
