Your tasks

• Ensure the laboratory is fully operational and that lab processes and workflows run smoothly
• Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of lab equipment
• Oversee chemical inventory and safety related documentation
• Ensure cleanliness and functionality of laboratory and office and manage external suppliers
• Maintain central cold chain storage (liquid nitrogen, ultra cold, alarm system)
• Control biological and chemical waste disposal
• Maintain and oversee safety relevant measure (supply of protective clothing, eye/emergency shower check-ups, refreshing of first-aid cupboards)
• Facilitate onboarding of new employees ensuring lab-related safety
• Coordinate and commission shipments of samples and labware to external partners
• Coordinate and execute different projects, including workspace remodeling, maintenance, and technical improvements

Your profile

• Proven experience in lab coordination and maintenance with a good understanding of laboratory equipment
• A hands-on mentality and willingness to assist with office maintenance management when needed
• Experience and technical skills to resolve incidents related to equipment and facilities
• Good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, able to communicate efficiently
