Your tasks
You have experience as a packaging engineer in the food industry and are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic working environment? Then KoRo is the right place for you! We are looking for a motivated new team member to take responsibility for the design and development of packaging for our wide range of products and to optimize the shipping of our products. Your tasks will be as follows:
- Developing and implementing innovative and more sustainable packaging solutions for our product range and optimizing the shipping of the products
- Constantly reviewing the product range to ensure the quality and sustainability of packaging
- Working with suppliers and internal teams to identify and apply the best materials and technologies
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects
- Ensuring that all packaging solutions comply with legal requirements and industry standards
- Developing and implementing a packaging strategy
Your profile
- Completed studies or training in packaging engineering, food technology or similar, preferably with a focus on sustainability
- You have at least 3 years of experience in packaging engineering in the food industry
- You have an excellent command of German and English
- You live in Berlin/the surrounding area or are willing to relocate to Berlin for your new position
- You have a deep understanding of material science and sustainable packaging solutions
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- You have the creativity and innovative spirit to independently drive projects and new ideas forward
- Knowledge of project management and the ability to successfully lead projects on time and within budget round off your profile
