Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Controller (m/w/d)

We're seeking an ambitious and proactive controller / FP&A specialist to be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the group & supporting expansion into new markets. This includes financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Tasks

• You conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• You develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
• You prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for strategic planning.
• You perform cost-benefit analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• You monitor and analyze KPIs to assess financial health and performance.
• You assist in the preparation of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• You oversee business controlling functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• You implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• You collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• You have proven experience as a Financial Analyst or Financial Controller, preferably in a similar industry.
• You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• You demonstrate adept financial modeling skills, including budget creation, tracking, and reporting, along with scenario analyses; familiarity with macros and SQL is a plus.
• You provide excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• You have strong numerical skills and an eye for detail and accuracy in reporting.
• You are comfortable performing ad hoc financial analyses using data reporting tools.
• You exhibit independent thinking, reveling in challenging the status quo and providing constructive solutions.
• You have knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting principles (HGB/IFRS).
