K5 Factory as part of the K5 Media Group based in Munich has specialized in developing immersive experiences since its foundation combines state-of-the-art technologies in AR, VR, and real-time rendering to produce games, metaverse, and other immersive experiences.
Tasks
Your Role
We are seeking a VR-Games QA Intern to join our highly motivated team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about VR gaming and eager to learn. While experience is beneficial, we primarily look for enthusiasm and a willingness to adopt new technologies, contributing to our innovative and high-quality gaming solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases, utilizing available documentation and guidance from team members.
- Help analyze test requirements to identify potential ambiguities and defects, under supervision, to gain insights into early bug prevention techniques.
- Assist in identifying, categorizing, and reporting bugs during the execution of test plans.
- Participate in regular reporting of test progress and results, learning how to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Contribute to risk assessment after test completion with the assistance of other QA team members, and learn about the process of making release recommendations.
- Learn to use our JIRA system for adding findings, and understand the process of prioritization in collaboration with the Lead Game Designer
Requirements
What you need to succeed
- You are a passionate gamer and know the VR gaming scene by heart.
- Basic technical knowledge is preferred, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
- You have first experiences in using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
- You work in a self-organized, structured manner and also outside predefined solution paths.
- You set priorities correctly and find it easy to structure your workday.
- You analyze your tasks and quickly recognize inconsistencies and problems.
- You are fluent in English and preferably also speak German.
- Optional: Basic knowledge in a scripting or programming language as well as in the use of databases.
