Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d)

Your daily area of responsibility:

• You are responsible for architecting and implementing a scalable and secure ETL pipeline using Azure Synapse Analytics, ensuring efficient data integration from various sources including sources, including SQL Databases, APIs, and others
• Designing and maintaining the data warehouse schema to support the evolving needs of the business are mong your main tasks
• You develop processes for data modeling, mining, and production
• Ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of data throughout the pipeline
• Collaborating with DevOps to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient data flow
• Constantly staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in data engineering and proposing integrations of new technologies or methodologies to maintain a competitive edge

Your competencies:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, especially in designing and implementing ETL pipelines
• Profound knowledge of Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Synapse Analytics
• Expertise in SQL and experience with various databases and data warehousing solutions
• Proven track record with batch processing and handling structured data, ideally within the real estate industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Fluency in German and/or English
