Your future contribution:

As a Manager Strategy & Operations, you will drive key initiatives across our Small Partner Solutions central functions and businesses to advance our strategic objectives. You will liaise with functional leads in our central SPS product, host relations and finance teams to identify opportunities in our processes, tools and collaboration; you will then scope & deliver projects to tap into these opportunities.

With your ability to learn fast, your curiosity and your strong focus to deliver results, you will also be given the opportunity to be the driving force behind new growth initiatives on the SPS team. Reporting directly to the Director Small Partner Solutions, you will be in a perfect position to always identify what will help the team most and ensure you work on what creates real value. Finally, you will be involved in supporting our SPS strategy development and be given an opportunity to understand our SPS business end-to-end: from strategy definition to value delivery throughout the year.

How you’ll add value:

• Identify and size improvement opportunities across our SPS central functions (product management, host relations, finance, legal)
• Scope and deliver projects to realize such improvements, e.g., establishing a globally scalable end-to-end subscription management process
• Drive key initiatives that allow us to integrate our local SPS businesses further, e.g., installing a global host relations function that all our SPS listing solutions share
• Own growth initiatives we incubate cross-functionally with our SPS and HomeToGo core functions, such as the global roll out of products for hosts
• Contribute to our SPS strategy definition with your insight into improvement and growth opportunities, but also supporting the overall strategy process
• Support our Director SPS on ad-hoc topics across SPS and HomeToGo initiatives
• Once you have gained a good amount of experience, you will have the opportunity to develop your own initiatives and team

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting or in corporate development of a digital company, e.g., as an entrepreneur or a residence/founder’s associate
• Are a generalist at heart, who enjoys it all: defining strategies, running projects and crunching numbers to go to the bottom of problems
• Are eager to learn, approach new tasks and projects with an open mind and take challenges as an opportunity to grow
• Are adaptable, with great communication and collaboration skills
• Enjoy structuring and approaching your tasks with clear priorities in mind, while also being able to deal with ambiguity
• If you have hands-on experience in building business cases, managing business transformation (for small businesses or start-ups), this will be a plus
• Have strong writing and speaking skills in German and English
