ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our first Sales Enablement Manager will enable our global GTM organization to close & retain customers with compelling, value-driven messaging. This is both a strategic and tactical role that partners closely with GTM leadership to build & enable the talk tracks, assets, and internal resources we need to win & retain deals. The role reports to the Director of Industry Strategy (aka Business Value Services) and will work most closely with our Education, Revenue Operations, Marketing (Product Marketing & Content) and Sales Leadership functions.
Talon.One’s continues to grow rapidly, powering promotions & loyalty programs with the world’s best enterprise brands including adidas, Domino’s, Ticketmaster, Carlsberg, and Eddie Bauer. After 8 years in business, we have incredible experience & data on the tech and marketing strategy required to win in competitive industries. We have a skilled, global team of 40+ Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success Managers who work to win & retain business, but our messaging varies widely and we occasionally fall back on basic feature demonstrations that don’t fully capture our transformative value proposition. We need this position to help transform our GTM into a more consistent and value-driven revenue organization.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE, YOU WILL:
- Education: work with our Education team to create & iterate internal training resources on how to build winning messaging
- Onboarding: build onboarding programs and clear documentation that get reps up to speed quickly
- Sales Materials: build compelling slide decks and proposal templates that enable our AEs to efficiently communicate the value of Talon.One for various audiences
- Enablement: train & support the team in using all of the materials you develop, diligently driving adoption & consistency across the sales force
- Coaching Support: work with Sales leadership to build a coaching culture that continuously improves our sales team. Identify and amplify winning messaging that the team organically develops. Work with RevOps to ensure we’re getting the most out of our sales tooling to better coach & develop our revenue team
- Business Value Services: work with our BVS function to build business case slide decks and spreadsheet templates to convincingly model our financial impact with prospects and customers
- Processes: collaborate closely with our global Revenue Operations team, which manages the tooling & processes used by our global GTM org. While rolling into our Business Value function, this role will work extremely closely with RevOps on nearly every project you lead
- Marketing: work closely with Content Marketing and Product Marketing to build aligned, value-driven messaging across our prospect & customer journeys
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 3-5 years of experience in a value-driven, consultative sales environment
- Proficiency in adult learning theory to instill actionable knowledge in a remote workforce
- Proven track record of supporting and coaching sales teams
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply
- Ability to work cross-functionally and foster a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated history of taking ownership of your work and executing complex projects
- Passion for technology, particularly in the loyalty & promotions sector
- Willingness to occasionally travel to team meetups in the US or Berlin HQ (1-3x / year)
