Operations Manager

At LANCH, we empower small gastronomy owners by giving them the tools needed to make food delivery fun again. We are building the world’s biggest virtual food court by creating high-quality delivery brands together with the megastars of our generation. LANCH is food delivery built for 2032. Backed by HV Capital, Felix Capital and a bunch of superstar angels such as the founders of FlixBus, Gorillas, Flaschenpost, Glovo, Foodspring, Foodora, Honest Food, Finleap and the most known YouTubers, rap stars and athletes of our time.

Tasks

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the onboarding and training of new partner kitchens, as well as managing those partners in their day-to-day operations. The main part of your role is to ensure that all internal LANCH guidelines are executed by your partners. You will be on the road visiting partners and making sure that the quality of our food brands is at the highest level. To assist you in your duties, you will be provided with a company phone and car.

Requirements

What you will do:

• Lead, coach and empower partner kitchens: As a Operations Manager, you will coach partners and work with them to ensure the highest level of quality and to achieve the maximum level of output.
• Get results and be accountable: You will analyse data from delivery platforms to evaluate the partner kitchens performance and to identify patterns, problems and solutions.
• Execute operational playbooks: As part of the operations team you will implement and improve operational processes in the kitchen and outside of the kitchen.
• Build relationships: You will be the point of contact for partner kitchens and need to lead them by example and support them in resolving challenging situations.
• Be entrepreneurial: solutions driven, and capable of thinking outside of the box.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

• Hands-on mentality: Experienced in hands-on operations - preferably in the kitchen/gastronomy industry.
• Project management skills: You feel comfortable managing projects and using data + dashboards to back up your decisions & bring priorities into day-to-day work.
• Excellent communication: You know how to communicate effectively and are fluent in German and English.
• Business understanding: You have a business background or experiences (no need for a finished business study).
• Willingness to travel: You are willing to travel short notice and you can work on the weekends.
