Operations Manager (Gn)

Destinus is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Workshop Manager. This key position is responsible for overseeing the seamless functioning of our office and managing procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong background in strategic procurement practices.

Tasks

• Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate office activities and operations.
• Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
• Provide support to employees and address their queries.
• Coordinate with HR for onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
• Ownership and responsibility for the general well-being of the aircraft production workshop.
• Accepting and receiving packages from suppliers, processing delivery notes and placing the incoming items in their respective locations.
• Organising the return of faulty or wrong-order items to suppliers.
• Manage, tracking and maintaining the inventory used for aircraft production, including transferring items from the main inventory to individual workstations.
• Taking stock of inventory levels each evening after the shift ends. Triggering part orders based on inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the warehouse and workshop, ensuring that all safety standards are being met and followed.
• Fulfill purchase requests made by technicians until automated ordering is implemented.
• Supporting the Head of Production with various tasks which may arise from time to time.
• Filling for licenses/correspondence with German authorities.

Requirements

• Prior experience managing a workshop/warehouse/inventory is highly desirable
• Proven organisational and communication skills are necessary
• Proven experience of at least 3 years as an office manager and/or in procurement management.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and office management.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant office management software.
• Fluent english level, Intermediate German level.
