Your mission

  • You will lead our Merchant Operations & Sales team – this team handles all the communications with our SME customers and performs any sales activity. The team’s ultimate goal is to answer any questions related Banxware and explain the USPs of our loan products in the best possible way.
  • You will take over the disciplinary lead of this team – currently 3 FTEs of Junior to Senior seniority.
  • You will be the No. 1 go-to-person for wherever your team needs support – you become their sparring partner, mentor, coach, and their spokesperson inside Banxware.
  • You define the perfect development path with each of your team members, cheer them up during crunch times, and motivate everyone to provide the best service to our customers.
  • You take over coordination with other neighbouring departments such as the Platform Sales team, Revenue Operations, the Marketing team, the Risk department, as well as our Product & Tech team.
  • You will report to our Head of Sales & Business Development and align closely with our Head of Marketing – our common goal is to ensure smooth & effective funnel operations, the highest possible end2end conversion rates, all while remaining our excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
  • You will constantly work together with our Revenue Operations team to define & refine the right KPIs we are looking at, optimize the internal tools your team is using, and thereby constantly increase their efficiency.
  • You will work very hands-on and jump in operationally during short times of extreme peak load.

Your profile

  • Must-have: you are fluent in German and English (writing and speaking).
  • You worked 3+ years as sales manager, key account manager, customer support agent, operations manager, or a similar role, AND bring 2+ years of experience in a disciplinary leadership role of a small team, preferably in a tech company or startup.
  • You are used to working with modern CRM-tools (such as Hubspot or Salesforce) and funnel driven sales & operations processes.
  • You listen carefully, think strategically as well as tactically, and you are a strong problem solver, who anticipates problems before they arise.
  • You have a strong focus on customer value, thrive in high velocity work environments and enjoy digging into the complexities of (fin)tech products and underlying processes.
  • You like taking over responsibility and working collaboratively.
  • You are passionate about FinTech and Banxware’s mission to support the real economy - small and medium-sized businesses - with instant financing.
