Your mission
Our CFO shares our entrepreneurial mentality, will spearhead our finance department and is responsible for sourcing and structuring our debt facilities, in which he has experience from his previous roles.
He will analyze and manage our loan portfolio. Key responsibilities include overseeing accounting, controlling, investor reporting )both equity and debt), financial forecasting, business intelligence, and budgeting. The CFO will also collaborate closely with our CEO in our fundraising activities.
In more detail, our CFO will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Guide the company's financial strategy in line with our overarching vision and goals.
- Provide financial insights and advice to the executive team.
- Finance & Operations:
- Head the finance department, ensuring efficient and scalable financial processes.
- Manage financial operations including treasury, tax, accounting, and budgeting.
- Establish and optimize cash management and treasury.
- Controlling & Reporting:
- Implement controlling best practices and ensure accurate financial reporting under German GAAP.
- Manage all financial statements and reporting processes.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Business Intelligence: Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis both regarding financials and loan portfolio.
- Analyse financial data to drive informed business decisions.
- Consolidate loan portfolio analysis and financial planning/reporting.
- Managing Director Responsibilities:
- Become one of two Managing Directors in one or more of Banxware Group Companies.
- Loan Portfolio Management:
- Oversee loan portfolio management, balancing risk and returns.
- Collaborate with the credit team on risk assessment processes.
- Consolidate risk predictions in financial forecasts and modelling.
- Structured Finance & Warehouse Finance Facilities:
- Lead structured finance initiatives, including securitizations and warehouse finance facilities.
- Work with external partners to optimize financing structures.
- Lead transaction team on debt facility set-ups.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in sourcing and structuring debt facilities
- At least 10 years of financial management experience in senior roles.
- Experience in setting up and scaling finance departments in startups or fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in German GAAP, controlling, financial planning, international consolidation, and reporting.
- Expertise in loan portfolio management.
- Skilled in advanced financial software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in English and German.
