Tasks

As a member of the multinational cloud security team at IONOS SE, you will be working for one of Europe's largest hosters in the rapidly growing cloud sector, contributing your knowledge and experience to better protect our products and system landscape. You will be responsible for the design and operation of an integrated management system that includes certified areas from ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz and BSI C5, among others, and is constantly being expanded.

The aim is to motivate and control the implementation and operation of security mechanisms, not only to demonstrate that our products meet the security requirements of the standards, but also to increase the benefits for our customers and the company.

The creation of synergies through lean processes, the skilful use of tools and the efficient, redundancy-free planning and execution of audits are an important part of your duties.

• You will assume the role of a specialist and be able to independently manage the implementation and design of the integrated management systems.
• You will analyse our systems, processes and products against information security standards.
• You will qualify and evaluate measures to meet security requirements and manage projects to implement them.
• You will plan, implement and follow up on new certifications and re-certifications.
• You will design and produce reports and metrics and present them to senior management.
• In addition to your main duties, you will also be involved in other security disciplines such as awareness, risk management or emergency management and will support your colleagues.
• You can look forward to exciting projects that combine state-of-the-art technologies and products with forward-looking security standards.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, ideally with a specialisation in Information Security.
• You have in-depth knowledge of compliance standards for cloud services and hosting providers in the European Union, e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, BSI C5, BSI IT-Grundschutz, CSA CCM. Experience with industry and international regulations would be an advantage, e.g. HIPAA or BAIT.
• You are passionate about technology and have experience of cloud services and the implications of shared ownership.
• You are proactive, self-motivated and a good team player.
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills and are willing to take on challenges and explore different avenues to find practical and effective solutions.
• You are quick to learn and can quickly familiarise yourself with new issues.
• You are able to communicate proactively and confidently in English. You also speak German or are willing to learn it.
