Up for an exciting challenge? Are you a skilled professional with a knack for business strategy, a pulse on the Italian market, and a track record in brand management? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our highly motivated team in a fast-growing startup in the heart of Berlin as Country Manager Italy (m/f/d)! Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and optimizing the financial performance of our operations in Italy – taking charge of the P&L responsibilities, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability (LTV analysis and driving strategies to increase it)
  • Analyzing the Italian market to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop strategies that align with our business objectives
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies that resonate with the local audience and elevate our brand (hands on focus on offline marketing and PR)
  • Navigating the Italian retail landscape – collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure effective retail strategies that drive sales and enhance brand visibility
  • Overseeing and guiding our brand identity in the Italian market, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, and spearheading initiatives that enhance brand perception
  • While the role may not initially involve direct reports, that is likely to change in the near future – a great opportunity to show and improve leadership skills!

Your profile

  • Completed studies in International Business, Marketing Management, or Business Administration; other related fields are welcome!
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience working in the (or expanding into) the Italian market – preferably in the food industry
  • You are familiar with Italian culture and snacking habits as well as the Italian e-commerce landscape and consumer behavior
  • Experience in the areas of Brand Management, Marketing (online & offline), Retail, and Expansion
  • Excellent Italian as well as excellent English skills
  • You live in Berlin or the surrounding area, or are willing to relocate
  • You know your way around common tools such as Excel/MS Office and G-Suite
  • You are highly analytical and comfortable with data
  • You are passionate about leading a team and helping your employees grow to the best of their abilities
  • Your strategic way of thinking, hands-on mentality, and communication skills are the foundations of your professional personality
