Aufgaben

A Field Producer is responsible for making sure the assignment is fulfilled to the highest quality, you’ll need a breadth of experience of TV production from outside broadcasts to cutting video. You’ll have exceptional organizational and communication skills to help direct our newsgathering. The role requires a flexibility to travel globally and overtime is applicable.

We'll trust you to:

• Managing logistics, producing live reporter hits and communicating with the relevant news desk, live shows and covering a breaking news event or of putting together a story.
• Field produces ready to report live for Lensum in Germany and across Europe as needed.
• Organizes a shoot quickly and inexpensively, takes a Newsroom vision and captures it with creative footage and hard hitting or striking interviews.
• Communicate with global editorial, production staff, and colleagues to ensure we maximize the impact of our content around the world.
• Regular domestic and international travel, which might cover any occasion or disaster areas.

Qualifikation

• 2+ years of relevant broadcast production experience
• English language proficiency other languages are a plus
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once and complete them simultaneously
• Flexibility with hours is essential
• Strong possess excellent news judgment
• A professional attitude that is highly collaborative and creative
• A willingness to take initiative and be a self-starter
• A willingness to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
