Senior Accountant (all genders welcome)

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant (all genders welcome). The position is available immediately at our headquarters in Fulda or within a hybrid model. The position is available on a full or part-time basis (minimum 30 hours per week).

The finance department of the Proemion Group is responsible for accounting, controlling and order management.

We prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of our German companies in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as the monthly financial statements of our international subsidiaries in the US and South Korea. Our tasks include responsibility for the general ledger, the management of all sub-ledgers and the processing of payment transactions. We are also responsible for payroll accounting for all companies in the Proemion Group.

Your Role

• You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) on your own responsibility and on time
• You are responsible for the accounting of wages and salaries
• You take over the support of foreign subsidiaries and are the first point of contact for all accounting issues
• You will also be involved in the further development of accounting processes
• In addition, you are the contact person for auditors, tax consultants and tax auditors
• Moreover, you are responsible for preparing advance VAT returns, recapitulative statements, etc.

Your Skills

• A degree in business administration (BWL) with a focus on accounting or a corresponding vocational training with completed further training as an accountant (international) with relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
• You have several years of professional experience in financial accounting
• You have a sound knowledge of HGB, knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
• Basic experience in payroll tax and social security law is desirable
• Experience in working with an ERP system, preferably SAP R3
• Very good Excel skills as well as a high affinity for numbers and an interest in IT
• Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a sense of responsibility, flexibility, teamwork and communication skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile
