We’re looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoy having the freedom to directly own and impact parts of the Enter product.
Your mission
- Grow, develop and lead a team of software engineering specialists with culture of agility, collaboration and transparency
- Owning the product and solution architecture with a key focus on output, quality and a scalable state-of-the-art tech-stack
- Be directly involved in product decisions with a lot of space for impact
- Develop best practices, create and implement the company’s tech strategy
- Be instrumental in building a data-driven culture within the organisation by exposing data, making it relevant and demonstrating how it can be used
- Hands on participation in design, code, test review cycles for both existing and planned features
- Optimising and reviewing the performance of teams, with an aim to increase the quality of engineering as a functional leader
- Care for tooling, metrics and other solutions to hold up our content quality to the highest standards
Your profile
- Experience building and scaling high achieving software engineering teams
- Experience with building data-heavy applications
- Extensive experience in building scalable infrastructure
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, Node.js and Express.js
- Good experience with PostgreSQL databases and complex data structures
- Experience in working with cloud-based systems (AWS) is required
- Ownership: You are a self-starter and are satisfied by owning the technical roadmap
- Big picture thinking - correctly diagnosing problems and building innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner closely with Product Owners and Business Heads
- Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not required)
