About the role

In this role, you will be working closely with the engineering team on the mission to make it as fun and intuitive as possible for our users to interact with Y42. Great user experience is one of our key differentiators and you’ll have a key role in designing it. Our bar for great UI/UX is extremely high and we want to bring to data & analytics engineering what tools like Linear and Notion did to their domain.

As our Senior Product Designer, these are the things you will do:

• Contribute to evolving Y42's design system
• Design new product features end-to-end
• Iterate quickly and communicate ideas within the team
• Deliver complete solutions from initial ideas to development-ready mockups
• Solve complex interaction problems with simple and scalable solutions
• Articulate the thinking behind your work to team members

About you

What we’re looking for:

• Have experience in designing usable, web-based interfaces
• Have experience in systems design
• Have technical experience and have worked with git before
• Are able to communicate design decisions and advocating for users’ needs
• Follow the latest trends in design and tech
• Strong plus: If you have done UI product design in a enterprise SaaS startup/scale-up before
• Strong plus: If you have experience in the data and analytics domain
