The Endo App is a medical app for those suffering from Endometriosis.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced lead developer with focus on React Native. You will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of our mobile app. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, an expert in React Native, and possesses strong communication skills.

Tasks
- We are seeking a Lead Mobile App Developer with expertise in React Native and Expo to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of both the mobile frontend and backend components of our applications.
- Guide our development team with your technical expertise
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and product managers to understand project requirements
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Join in the development of reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and maintainability
- Optimise the performance and responsiveness of the Endo-App
- Integration of Backend APIs (REST)
Requirements
- You need to be based in Europe, preferably Germany!
- 10+ years experience as a Developer
- Proven experience (5+ years) in mobile app development in Expo, with a strong focus on React Native and JavaScript & Typescript
You need good knowledge/experience with:
- React Hooks, React Realm, Redux, MobX and related libraries.
- Security controls such as TLS, Certificate Pinning, Device Secure Storage, FaceID, TouchID, etc
- iOS/Android ecosystems
- REST API
- Git
Other experiences that would be a great bonus:
- Line management/lead experience
- CI/CD
- React animation such as React Native Reanimated, Skia
- Error management such as sentry
- Testdriven Development
- Knowledge of building continuous integration workflows
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies & working in an Agile/Scrum environment
