Your responsibilities
As a QA Engineer (m/f/d) within our development ream, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly, and bug-free applications and services across our E-Commerce platform. You will work closely with our systems, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our software development and testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, specifications, tasks and translate them into comprehensive test plans and strategies
- Develop, introduce, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and ensure efficient regression testing
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and security of our E-Commerce applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work with development teams to facilitate their resolution
- Monitor and analyse test results to provide insights into the quality of our applications, and propose improvement as needed
- Continuously learn about new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve our testing processes
Your profile
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual testing and test automation
- Strong knowledge with test automation frameworks and tools as well as a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including units, integrations, regression, and performance testing
- Experience working within agile development environments, and knowledge of continuous integration as well as delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think creatively to identify potential issues
- Experience with E-Commerce platforms or related challenges are a plus
- Fluency in German as well as English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
