Equal Education Partners is currently seeking dynamic and qualified supply teachers to join our team. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education across various subject areas, fostering student engagement, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This position requires collaboration with academic staff, Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and School Administrators to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
- Lesson Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative lessons across a diverse range of subject areas, aligning with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic staff, Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and School Administrators to create a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
- Classroom Management: Promote positive behaviour, manage in-class engagement, and ensure a safe and conducive learning atmosphere for students.
- Lesson Implementation: Lead lessons using various teaching resources, including presentations, textbooks, and other learning materials, in accordance with lesson plans provided by the permanent Teacher.
- Student Supervision: Supervise students during class time, breaks and lunch, prioritising their safety and well-being.
- Motivation and Engagement: Foster a motivating and engaging learning experience, encouraging students to actively participate and remain motivated in their academic pursuits.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a supply teacher or in a similar educational role.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Organisational skills.
- Familiarity with diverse teaching methods and materials

Requirements
To be a supply teacher with Equal Education Partners at UWTSD Carmarthen, you must:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Be registered with the relevant teaching body (e.g. EWC in Wales & TRC in England)
- Possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing for us to process a new one
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to effectively plan lessons and deliver engaging teaching sessions
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
