We are seeking a Biomedical Technician to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. This flexible role allows work from the biomed shop, in the field, or remotely from home, depending on client and operational needs.

Compensation Details:
- Hourly Rate: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience).
- On-Call Rate: $15 per hour.
- Overtime/Weekend Rate: 1.5x regular hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Service:
- Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and certification of medical devices at client sites.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in clinical environments.
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and timely updates.
Shop-Based Work:
- Perform repairs, testing, and maintenance of equipment in the biomed shop.
- Manage tools, parts inventory, and documentation.
- Create detailed service records and reports.
Remote Support:
- Provide troubleshooting assistance via phone or email.
- Manage administrative tasks, including reporting and inventory updates.
- Stay current with service manuals, compliance standards, and technical specs using advanced knowledge bases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing medical equipment.
- Skills:
- Expertise in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in clinical settings.
