Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition company, is looking for a skilled Technical Communication Writer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. As a Technical Communication Writer, you will be responsible for producing clear and effective documentation for various technical projects.
The Technical Writer's responsibility is to assist Client Operations by clearly and concisely producing easily understandable technical and non-technical documents, including user manuals, guides, and online help materials.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Writer within the organization, you will support the creation and maintenance of comprehensive and accurate documentation related to all departments.
Essential:
- Develop technical and non-technical documents that are logical, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Work with different departments to understand document requirements in-depth.
- Investigate and gather data on technical content related to the organization.
- Interview subject matter experts, research complex topics, and analyze existing materials.
- Assist in developing technical documents such as training manuals, operating manuals, scope of work, and SOPs.
- Produce high-quality publications and newsletters using templates that meet applicable standards for the audience.
- Review existing technical documents, ensuring that all documentation is error-free, typo-free, and compliant with the template and writing style.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of information and document control architecture.
- Assist in developing training materials and job aids to support staff onboarding and continuous learning.
- Stay updated with developments and generate new ideas in presenting technical reports.
- Assist in handover document review and comments.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in Technical Report/Document writing – FM, MEP, Operations and Maintenance
- A 1st degree in Engineering
- Experience in writing, editing, and proofreading with impeccable attention to detail.
- Experience in major engineering procedures.
- Good command of English: reading, writing, grammar, punctuation.
- Good overall communication skills.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to operations.
- Experienced in writing sequential and logical workflow and management processes.
- Proficiency in collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
