Inventory Control Technician

• Currently looking for a spare parts manager to manage our revenue generating spare parts program from order entry through shipment, including coordination of all spare parts transactions involving purchased parts, machined parts, and electro-mechanical assemblies using a computerized ERP (database) system and other project management softwares. 
• Manage spare parts inventory by keeping a well maintained and clean working area. Ensure no physical hazards are present, so the daily inventory tasks can be completed.
• Pull spare parts/assemblies as soon as they are available for shipment, package as required, and arrange for shipment.
• Provide weekly updates on status of all spare part open orders
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers on a daily basis
• Serve as the primary contact to customer for all spare parts related projects
• Work with external suppliers to ensure on time delivery of purchased parts
• Write purchase requisitions for all buy parts
• Education: High school diploma.
• 2-3 years of inventory control, warehousing, or stockroom lead in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills, to aid in cycle counting and job kitting.
• Experience in ERP systems.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology
