The Statistical Analyst is responsible for the researching, identifying, generating, and organizing a wide variety of internal and external data, and for doing the statistical analysis in support of ***s business, legal, and policy issues. A self-started and creative analyst must be able to analyze and visualize the data in different ways to fit the needs of a specific analysis or audience. This role requires technical expertise in various statistical models and comfort in discussing merits of various statistical approaches in which a prediction model may impact an analysis. Must have the ability to confidently and clearly communicate reports and presentations for explaining the data, methodology, trends and analysis, to a broad group of stake-holders with varying backgrounds. This role requires interfacing effectively across various departments internally, as well as with various research and consulting organizations externally.
You will have an opportunity to leverage your existing skills while learning new ones in a fast-paced startup environment within a large company. You will work closely with an expert team of Ph.D. economists. You will also have access to a broad network of financial and industry analysts, policy, and legal experts. You will work closely with the Government Affairs/Policy leads in various countries, Corporate Finance and Market Intelligence teams to dissect broad industry trends, and legal/litigation and antitrust leads for high profile legal cases. You will be among the first to work with our unique datasets, and to help Client new insights in ***s business, legal, and policy positions.
Responsibilities include: generating, organizing, analyzing large and reliable data-sets from multiple sources, interfacing with various internal departments and external organizations, building new models, performing robust statistical analysis, clear documentation generation of well-written reports and presentations for explaining the data, methodology, and the analysis to a broad group of stake-holders.
