Title: Contracts Analyst

Job Description: General Summary
Administers, analyzes, and manages licensing agreements to provide on-going contract administration support across IP licensing areas. Manages contract management systems and conducts research to prepare reports and/or correspondence related to the maintenance of license agreements and processes. Applies and maintains current understanding of *** policies, positions, and operations as well as legal guidelines related to IP licensing and contracts administration.
IP Licensing Expertise:
Applies knowledge of relevant *** policies, regulations, requirements, and rules to support IP licensing activities.
Follows established guidelines and procedures to monitor employee and stakeholder compliance with *** corporate policies and procedures.
Data Analysis and Management:
Enters, updates, and processes relevant IP licensing data (e.g., licensee royalty certificate details, market research, product specifications) into databases; ensures data is clean and accurate.
Analyzes data (e.g., data validation, verification) with minimal guidance to identify moderately complex issues and evaluate compliance with agreement terms.
Collaborates with team to develop and implement solutions to moderately complex licensing issues or problems based on understanding of IP licensing principles, theories, and techniques.
Generates reports and extracts insights from data to support IP licensing related decisions.
Collaboration:
Collaborates with internal partners and some external stakeholders to support IP licensing goals with minimal oversight.
Seeks opinions of others within own team about ways in which a problem can be addressed differently; implements best solution.
Project Management:
Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with some supervision.
Solicits and follows guidance to make sound, ethical, and timely decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Communication, Business, Political Science or related fields.
OR
Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, IP Certificate, or equivalent with 2 years related work experience.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years related work experience."
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Communication, Political Science or related fields.
Physical Requirements: Sitting or standing at desk or looking at a desktop monitor for long periods of time.
Comments for Suppliers: Onsite Critical: This position may be asked to go into the office 1 time a week as needed for now, and then when we all return, we will be 2-3 days in the office
