<h4>MISSION</h4><p>The position's mission is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and secure management of precious metals operations for a diverse range of clients, while leading and developing a team of 10 operations professionals. The role aims to maintain high standards of operational excellence and compliance, optimize processes, enhance inter-departmental coordination, and leverage technology to meet and exceed both client expectations and organizational goals. This position is also responsible for mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment, and motivating the team to achieve superior performance and adherence to company standards.</p><h4>MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h4><h5>Team management<br></h5><ul><li>Direct and support a team of 10 operations professionals managing diverse client streams, including producers, industrials, high-end branded corporates, financial institutions, and bullion dealers.</li><li>Mentor team members, providing guidance and motivation to exceed organizational objectives through continuous development and performance management.</li></ul><h5>Customer operations management</h5><ul><li>Manage daily operational tasks such as reconciliations, deliveries, pricing, invoicing, and payments to ensure precision and efficiency.</li><li>Oversee the complete and accurate management of precious metals deliveries, ensuring all documentation is correctly issued and received.</li><li>Monitor and reconcile client trade accounts, market positions, and balances to maintain financial integrity.</li><li>Monitor and reconcile client trade accounts, market positions and balances</li><li>Develop and implement procedures for onboarding new client accounts, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.</li></ul><h5>Monitoring and continuous improvement</h5><ul><li>Enhance communication with key departments such as relationship management, production, logistics, treasury, trading, and back office to ensure cohesive operations.</li><li>Establish and refine operational procedures in collaboration with the COO, setting and tracking key performance indicators to gauge and further improve operational success.</li><li>Work with other departments to design and refine processes, aiming to boost the effectiveness and efficiency of existing operations.</li><li>Partner with IT project managers to develop or upgrade technological tools and software that support and enhance client operations, driving digital transformation and operational efficiency.</li></ul><h4><br></h4><ul></ul><h4>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, finance or another relevant field</li><li>5-7 years of work experience, preferably in commodities trading house or financial institution</li></ul><h4><br>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</h4><ul><li>Excellent leadership skills and high drive; </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation;</li><li>Sense of responsibility and initiative;</li><li>Ability to work autonomously;</li><li>Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and innovative thinking both in approach and in practical effect; </li><li>Resistance to stress and time pressure;</li><li>Agile and flexible mindset, reactive to requests;</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity;</li><li>Good IT skills; proficiency in Windows environment is expected;</li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.</li><li>Swiss or EU national or holder of a valid Swiss working permit.</li></ul><p> </p> •
