- Schedule typically Mon-Fri, average 40 hours weekly 10-6pm; weekend and holidays may be required
Job Duties:
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
- Convert lost opportunities to sales from technicians’ invoices and sales representatives’ proposals
- Following up with customers who have outstanding plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling needs/estimates to get them on the schedule
- Get potential customers excited about the company and encourage them to spread the word
- Become an expert in your market area, know the customer needs
- Help set aggressive sales plans, propose expansions
- Completing all necessary paperwork
- Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
- Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals
- Participate in Nexstar training so that you grow and develop as a professional
- Maintain and update our customer database with complete and accurate information
- Be familiar with all resources available: financing, discounting, promotions, incentives, etc.
- Contact prospective customers via telephone, SMS (text), and email
- Conduct market research to develop warm leads
- Vet lead list for warm and cold leads and identify prospects that fit the target demographic
- Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
- Upsell additional products as need arises
- Report weekly sales goals and objectives to Call Center Director
- Negotiate price with clients who are interested in making bulk orders
What you need:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and persistent follow up.
- Experience working in the home services industry preferred
- Multitask by completing phone and computer work simultaneously
- Capability to type at least 40 WPM
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Clear, kind, and energetic phone presence
- Ability to work fast paced and remain organized
- Must be a U.S. Resident
