Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste.</em><em></em></p><p>Evac North America is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused <strong>Assembler  – Inspection &amp; Quality</strong> to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the quality inspection of parts and assembled items in our shop while also performing assembly tasks as needed. You may be assigned to various operational departments and will serve as a backup for the Operations Lead.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><h4><strong>Inspection &amp; Quality Duties:</strong></h4><ul><li>Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.</li><li>Prepare Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMR) and assist the Quality Engineer with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.</li><li>Manage measurement and test equipment (M&amp;TE) calibration processes, logs, and records.</li><li>Maintain an approved supplier database and related records.</li><li>Support supplier Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site-level FAT processes.</li><li>Assist with site-level ISO management system, external, and internal audits.</li><li>Conduct supplier quality audits and handle returned goods/warranty claims.</li><li>Report and address Environment, Health, and Safety incidents.</li><li>Collaborate with the local QEHS engineer and internal audit team.</li><li>Support the Quality Management System (QMS) at the local site in alignment with Group Quality requirements.</li></ul><h4><strong>Assembly &amp; Operations Duties:</strong></h4><ul><li>Perform large and small assemblies following standard procedures.</li><li>Conduct product testing per established protocols.</li><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement and positive team collaboration.</li><li>Act as the Operations Lead in their absence.</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Operations Lead.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>Must be a <strong>U.S. citizen</strong>.</li><li>Associate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) preferred; or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience.</li><li>Basic knowledge of <strong>ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001</strong> standards.</li><li>ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in using common quality inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge pins, and pressure gauges.</li><li>Familiarity with inspection plans, manufacturing drawings, machining, welding, materials, and technical specifications.</li><li>Ability to understand and comply with government standards and regulations.</li><li>Minimum of <strong>3 years of assembly work experience</strong> in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>High degree of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.</li><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to <strong>50 pounds periodically</strong>.</li><li>Ability to operate manually powered and motorized material handling equipment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h3><ul><li>Competitive pay and benefits.</li><li>Opportunity to work in a <strong>high-quality, safety-focused</strong> environment.</li><li>Career growth potential within a <strong>global industry leader</strong>.</li><li>A culture that values teamwork, precision, and continual improvement.</li></ul><p>Evac North America is an <strong>equal opportunity employer</strong> committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
