About FS Investments
FS Investments started with a vision to bring investors access to alternative investments historically only available to institutions and high-net worth individuals. Now, through a combination of in-house expertise and collaboration with multiple leading industry partners, the Firm generates differentiated solutions for every individual’s portfolio needs. We offer many opportunities for early talent, including our internship and co-op programs, as well as entry-level positions across all areas of the organization.
What to expect:
The FS Investments internship program provides an in-depth introduction to our business, industry, and culture. Interns will receive meaningful work assignments, opportunities to develop professional skills, and support from colleagues throughout the firm.
This is an on-site 10-week program – June to August – based at our Philadelphia headquarters in the Navy Yard. This program offers college students an immersive professional experience in financial services and the alternatives investment industry.
Interns will engage in learning sessions and social events to gain insight into our business and culture. Individuals will be placed into specific roles based on career interest and business needs. FS interns will have access to technology and IT support to be successful in their role, as well as a healthy office atmosphere including meals, café and an on-site fitness center with instructor-led classes. The Navy Yard location offers free commuter shuttles to and from Center City.

What you bring to the internship program:
Our internship is designed for rising seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree who have a genuine interest in financial services and gaining experience in the asset management industry. We encourage you to be proactive, take initiative and be motivated to learn. We challenge you to work collaboratively within our small team structure and across other internal departments.
Our size allows us to be agile in exploring opportunities for mobility across the company. We encourage development through on-the-job experiential learning, cross-functional training, and internal and external professional development opportunities.
*Students should include a short cover letter that indicates your area of interest.
