Architect Intern (Subic, Zambales)

Planate Management Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Architect Intern will assist in various engineering activities including research of design, preparation of engineering calculations, and analytical modeling under the supervision and mentorship of the company’s engineers.

The location of work is in Subic Bay, Zambales.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting Architects and Engineers in all aspects of design-build projects
• Updating CADD/CAM files
• Maintaining technical drawings and specifications
• Conducting general troubleshooting of systems and equipment
• Analyzing production issues and assisting with solutions
• Responsible for the data collection and report preparation
• Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

 Qualifications To be successful in the role: 

• Currently pursuing Architecture Degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills in English both written and oral
• Able to follow instruction
• With attention to details
