About us:

At its heart, Probo is an opinion trading platform building prediction markets for India. On Probo, users can find questions on many topics of their interest, like sports, news, finance  and many more. Users can swipe yes or no to express their opinion and place trade(s), and by doing so they enter into an event contract with another user on the other side of the trade. Probo is a matching engine that enables the execution of this event contract. Each trade is INR 10, and at the end of the event contract, the user with the correct opinion wins the quantum at stake.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Product Manager with 6-8 years of experience to drive consumer growth and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap to drive user growth, engagement, and retention.
• Define and prioritize features and enhancements by collaborating with different teams based on user insights 
• Drive A/B testing and experimentation to optimize product features and user experiences.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Must have: 6-8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on consumer-facing products in a fast-paced startup
• Strong analytical skills, including knowldge of SQL 
• Experience with consumer mobile apps and digital products is highly desirable.
