About the Role
As a Market Development Strategy Analyst for WeaveGrid’s Marketing and Policy & Regulatory Affairs teams, you will support the development and execution of strategy to enable widespread adoption of transportation electrification and managed charging solutions. You’ll serve as a thought partner generating analysis and content to support near-term and long-term goals for WeaveGrid..
Additionally, as a Market Development Strategy Analyst, you will collaborate and communicate with the Business Development, Partnerships, and Product teams and share insights about the needs of the market. You will also support external-facing team members in telling the holistic story about WeaveGrid.
Responsibilities
- Develop new content to educate utilities, automakers, charging companies, and EV drivers on the benefits of WeaveGrid solutions and address relevant energy and climate policy objectives
- Prepare effective communications materials, including presentations, briefs, and written comments, reflecting WeaveGrid’s positioning and product differentiators
- Generate analysis to support WeaveGrid and Market Development strategy to advance business goals supporting greater adoption of transportation electrification and managed charging
- Manage strategic events and conference participation, creating opportunities for WeaveGrid to disseminate key messages
- Effectively execute on company plans, including helping the Business Development and Partnerships teams meet or exceed their targets by building campaigns and programs that generate interest and motivate customers and stakeholders to take action
- Actively participate in cross-functional account teams serving existing utility clients, providing market research, sharing policy context, and supporting proposals
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including utility clients, automakers, evaluators, market researchers, regulatory commission staffs, state energy officials, environmental groups, equity organizations, and consumer advocates
- Participate in and maximize influence at industry organization memberships and stakeholder meetings
- Research and synthesize key policy developments, utility filings, and reports to inform market development strategy
- Support team operations, including resource library systemization, contact and stakeholder relationship management, and reporting
- Grow the market for WeaveGrid solutions that enable high levels of transportation electrification
- Enhance WeaveGrid’s thought leadership with electric utilities, auto manufacturers, regulators, drivers, equity organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate customer and regulatory acceptance.
- Special projects and other duties as designated by your manager or assigned designee.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS, or equivalent experience, required
- 2-4 years of full-time experience, including work in the utility, mobility, or B2B software space
- Successful track record of developing content, strategy, and analysis to support external-facing team
- Domain expertise through industry experience or education in one or several of the following areas: Electric mobility, electric utilities, automotive sector, B2B SaaS products, residential energy assets
- Demonstrated project management and research experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Attention to detail and ability to function effectively under time pressure
- Ability to work with diverse teams and translate between various areas of expertise
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks in response to immediate needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Proficiency in technology used for effective internal and external communications, including websites, blogs, CRMs, email delivery platforms, and basic graphic design tools
- Candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area are strongly preferred
The total compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $80,000 - $125,000 plus equity (stock options) and benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience, and location. As you go through our interview process, our recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range and combine it with an equity package to get you excited about your future at WeaveGrid.
