Our client is one of the largest public safety firms in North America. They are in need of a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide quality engineering technical support to the facility related to corrective actions, process control, statistical analysis, customer complaints, component validation, product measurement and testing, product launch, product certification, and audits.
Duties & Responsibilities for the quality Assurance Specialist
- Investigate customer returns and complaints and provide corrective action / customer problem resolution
- Implement corrective action measures to prevent re-occurrence
- Provide program launch support at facility
- Manage all checklists and procedures
- Prepare and host internal, customer and regulatory audits and internal system and process audits
- Use DMAIC problem solving methodologies to address in-process, supplier and customer quality issues
- Support product development and production transfer to ensure process capability exists and product requirements are understood
- Making sure everything that is going to client is formatted and spelled correctly. If contract changes make sure that everyone is aware and notified.
- Must follow up constantly with the team to make sure procedures are being followed and answer any questions or concerns.
- Auditing the entire program and making sure everything is running smooth and correctly.
- Write procedures, improve and monitor inspection processes, install statistical sampling processes and issue corrective action reports.
